Swegreen climbs rank and secures a spot on the FoodTech 500 list, for the second consecutive year!

Swegreen secures the 200th place and makes it to the FoodTech 500 list for the second consecutive year. The FoodTech 500 is an initiative by Forward Fooding, inspired by the Fortune 500, aiming to recognize the most pioneering global entrepreneurial talent and startup/scale-up companies driving innovation in the intersection between food, technology, and sustainability.

The FoodTech 500 2022 analyzed and ranked over 7,500 company cases from 67 countries. Swegreen is proud to have secured its place among the top 500 companies, moving up in the rankings, and recognized for its significant achievements in the past year.

The FoodTech 500 rankings are based on a methodology that considers a company's business size, digital footprint, and sustainability practices. The official unveiling of the 2022 FoodTech 500 list took place on March 1st, 2023, at an event in Barcelona. The Vertical farming industry is boldly represented on the 500 list, with 46 CEA and vertical farming actors recognized as part of the puzzle for the future of farming.
