Vertical Farming World Congress 2021 will host Swegreen’s CEO on stage

The elite from AgTech industry hot sector Vertical Farming will gather in London for the 2nd annual Vertical Farming World Congress during September 20-22nd. Swegreen CEO Andreas Dahlin is selected as one of featured speakers during the event.

The Vertical Farming World Congress is the meeting point for vertical farming industry leading actors, solution owners, investors, suppliers and customers. The annual event will be held in London on September 20-22nd this year and Andreas Dahlin, CEO of Sweegreen, is amongst the selected speakers to present and talk about the unique niche technology and innovative concept of Swegreen and its Farming as a Service model.

- After only two years of business, we at Swegreen have proven as a spear technology company with both an innovative approach – and a proof of concept business case – within the emerging vertical farming industry, Andreas Dahlin says.

    Swegreen has developed and created an In-Store Vertical Farming platform which is taking hydroponic growing systems to a hyper-locally applicable and end-to-end model inside supermarkets and restaurants. With circular and high-tech cultivation units – automated, cloud-monitored and AI-driven – Swegreen’s Farming as a Service concept also includes an innovative subscription-based business model that attracts many customers. Andreas Dahlin as one of the co-founders and CEO of the thriving Scandinavian Vertical Farming AgTech venture, Swegreen, is based on the company’s success, invited to share further ideas of developing the boiling hot AgTech industry on the congress’ stage.

    Following the success of the inaugural 2020 event, attended by 180 delegates from 40 countries; this year’s event is being expanded and industry representatives are signing up for a vibrant event and settings. This will be a hybrid event, allowing for both virtual and in-person attendance and will feature two days conference sessions and networking opportunities, with additional elements for those attending in person, including vertical farm tours, produce tasting, policy forums and training courses; for new entrants as well as industry leaders from some of the largest and most innovative actors of the industry.
